Kohjinsha DZ Laptop Has Two Screens. Yes, Two…

You know, for quite some time I’ve thought that having two screens on a laptop is a dumb idea. For a start, how could you do such a thing without lumbering around another TFT and hoping for desk space? It turns out, it’s possible to have a pre-built solution…

Yes, some stupidly intelligent guys at Kohjinsha have managed to make the DZ series of laptop, which has a secondary screen that slides out from behind the normal display. The rest of the laptop consists of generic specs and the battery takes an expected hit, but all we care about are the pimp dual-screen action which may end up having a decent use outside of looking like someone with way too much money lying around.

Of course, my only use for it would be to make sure no-one sits at my desk at Starbucks…

Dell Adamo XPS Images Show Side, What You Can See Of
It…

You know the story. Dell meets Laptop. Laptop loses weight. Dell photographs innocent laptop and uploads the sordid images to the internet. One we’ve heard many times before…

Adamo XPS open sideAdamo XPS Side shot

Since 9/9/09 (over a month ago), Dell has been teasing us all with these photos of a really thin laptop called the Adamo XPS. Their teaser website just has a request for your name and e-mail for further information when they decide to release it. The images above are the latest two released by Dell, and they tell nothing much, aside from “Damn, it’s thin!”. If only we had an image of the keyboard… or the screen… or the whole thing…

Acer Ferrari One – It’s a Red Laptop With A
Badge

Do you like Ferrari? Do you want to display your love for the car manufacturer without breaking the bank on one of their fast and oh-so-wantable cars? Well, how about the Ferrari One from Acer…

FERR_FB_04 (Large)

It’s a red laptop with the Ferrari logo on it. Sure, it’s got an 11.6″ screen, sound stuff with Dolby on it, ATiRadeon HD 3200 pushing the graphics, Wifi to N, 3G to go and Windows 7 costing from £399, but it doesn’t get away from the fact that it’s got the damn Ferrari badge on it and therefore will only be bought by extreme Ferrari fans and parents getting their son a computer but doesn’t know anything about laptops and thinks that the badge is a good sign.

Your value of the badge may vary…
