What is a Mamba?
A venomous snake that mostly resides in trees. The best known is the Black Mamba, it being the longest venomous snake in Africa. It kills by biting rather than crushing, and many varieties offer a stupidly high chance of death if you aren’t prepared.

What is TechMamba?
TechMamba is a technology blog from the brilliant minds behind Gametactics. If it’s gadget, science, hardware, robotic or computer related and it piques our interest, then you’ll see it posted here.

Why the name TechMamba?
Well, it wasn’t taken, it’s memorable, and Malcolm just likes how the word Mamba rolls of the tongue. You try it. Mam-ba. Maaaammm-Baa. See? It’s joyous to say. As to how snakes connect to technology? No idea.

Who writes this stuff?
The main engine behind TM is Malcolm Owen, aided by Justin Lee. They have had a blogging partnership on Gametactics for some time, so naturally an expansion to Tech was a good idea.
