Perhapps paving the way for “touch-screen” keyboard devices for PC’s?

Imagine a keyboard that adapts to the application you run, particularly gaming; the “keys” on the screen would change position for comfort and paticularly for fast reflex for an FPS game, whilst for say, an RTS, the keys would represent “hotkeys” to build vast arrays of units, whilst for an MMORPG the keys would represent all your abilities and spells; finally allowing you to have your spells positioned in a reasonable fashion accross the “screen”.

Something I’ve always wanted to see in the coming future of technology, and this article about the phones ability to do something remotely close to this is exciting!
