Boeing has released footage of their Advanced Tactical Laser (or ATL). You may be thinking that it’s a non story, but bear in mind that it’s being shot from a plane flying overhead…

Yes, someone is flying and aiming a “death ray” at the hood of a car, either to disable the vehicle by damaging it’s engine, or just making the paintwork look very scorched. And it’s not even the larger, megawatt-class laser either.

At least now we’re one step closer to having a viable laser-death-table for international spies to be laid on whilst an evil genius explains his/her plans and expecting them to die…
