Have you ever taken a photo with your digital camera, edited it within your favourite image editing software, then saw the final printout had colours that did not match what you actually saw? No, me neither…
The Spyder3Express is a device you stick to the front of your monitor and adjusts the colours to where it is more “correct” compared to real life. Stick it on, connect it up, and after a few minutes of sitting around wondering if it will really work, the monitor’s colours will have been adjusted. Beats the heck out of spending an hour or two comparing a computer screen to a photograph to do it manually.
This is mainly a problem for those in image editing, publishing or design businesses, but the average user with some form of OCD or extreme needs for perfection will find it useful, with it being a pretty reasonable $89.
